Tecmo Booth

TECMO Booth
This year, TECMO moved with microsoft to Hall 4-6. Since I entered in between hall 4 and 5 already. I went straight to TECMO booth in Hall 4.

On the left is the overhead picture they are showing above the booth. Yes, Tecmo make Gallop Racer 8 too. Fatal Frame 3 is already released in Japan, so they are not showing it here of course.

In the morning, they first held a show stating all their games and where are they showing at the booth. First come this little cute thing. Can't resist, I have to snap a picture. It can manage to dance up and down too!

Although expected, there is no playable demo of DOA4 on TGS show floor. (Yes, I know now they have it for press in a hotel) However, no new footage of DOA4 is a major disappointment. The video shown at TGS is just the same as the one in Europe with all the new voice added on. Dispite the absent of new video, there is the playable version of Ninja Gaiden Black, the PSP game Karakuri which nobody seems to care, RIO Slot machine and some mobile phone games.
Tecmo booth is either super crowded or quite empty. (Next to it is Xbox360 booth with playable demo of xbox360 games). Tecmo was crowded mainly for the distribution of DOA4 posters. The poster of Ayane's new costume is the most interesting thing this year. Second to that is the Hori DOA4 xbox360 controller, then the poster of DOA live action movie(coming out in 2006). This year they did not hand out any ticket for poster distribution. It is quite a mess in my opinion where people lined up not knowing for sure if they will get a poster or not. Another thing is, there are 5 posters which are distributed randomly. So...

I lined up early for the first show and I did not get one poster just because those guys are like hungry cows pushing in the center line up while I was standing with others on the side(front row but on the side). So I went for the center front row for the next show. Guess what I get a Leifang poster! Yay! Just like last year, my first poster is Leifang. (/^_^\) It is just my fate, my destiny LOL. I did get a second one on day 2 which is Kokoro. Quite nice.

At TGS, they announced DOA4 will be released on December 10, 2005. Same date as Xbox360 launch in Japan. So I guess the North American version won't be too much of a difference than the Japanese version this time.

Thank You Tecmo, hope to see the next DOA in TGS 2006.

TECMO Licensed DOA Movie in 2006.
