I am starting to write my Blog again. Wow, how long ago was my last entry!

I will start things again with my NEW DOA Collection. Here's my new Kokoro figure. Just got her yesterday at one of the local store in Hong Kong.

I like this Kokoro figure very much, she looks almost exactly like her in-game counter part. This is one of the most accurate recreation of DOA characters in my opinion.

DOA figures...all of them are good but I like this one the most so far. So that's why I get her. I think it is quite diffcult to sculpt exactly the same image as the in-game model. So this Kokoro is really a rare re-creation. It has some weight too and she is made of solid plastic. 9 out of 10 !! Cool, LOVED !

I guess that this figure will also be available at TECMO USA Store ~ Feb 2009. So for N. American, you can wait till 2009. Or if you want it now, you can get it from Play-Asia. Click my link on the right(Play-asia), then type "kokoro" and you can find the figure and order it online now. ^_^ ~

(Or if anyone want to ask me to buy them one locally in Hong Kong, you can leave me a note too ^_^)

Playing with Colors

Image hosting by PhotobucketSince

there is a thread in DOAC about color variation or costume making for

DOA, I just made a quick one. There is an unofficial figure in Japan

that uses this color combination so I made this.

Two DOA games heading for PS3

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Confirmed by a TECMO PR, there are two DOA games heading to PS3.

This is a nice suprise, but will it be just port of DOAX / DOA3 / DOAU

is unknown at this point. Remember Itagaki did say they will release

info if they will make games for PS3 or not a while back? Looks like

this is it or TECMO may make another major announcement. LF2k is

expecting many new and exciting news this E3 in May. ^_^

My Mini-Review for DOA4
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

8/10

Pro

-Very good CG, and funny ending

-Very nice water effect

-Some of the new moves are quite cool

-Good unlockables

-Good Online (Shops/lobby)

-Camera mode is a nice addiction

Con

-Not enough costumes, not even kokoro furisode in the opening is ridiculous.

-Too many stunts and too long

-Sparring mode did not show you everything

-Some moves we like taken out

-No opening CG?

-Bugs

-No Easy difficult setting

-In my opinion, the worst music collection in DOA

-Gameplay is a bit too fast, or at least give us an option like in DOA2 Hardcore to turn on/off turbo mode

-It

still looks ridiculous when 2 non-ninja characters are far away from

each other, the next second they can punch each other in the face.

-Bouncing

from the floor is not realistic in non-ring type stage. All stage

floors looks like they are supported on springs. How will that look

realistic for concrete floors?

-Although each stage has more areas to break/explore to, each part you are able to fight inside are too small.

The

A.I.: the thought of wasting money on this game really came across my

mind the first night I played it. Although as my skills get better, the

enjoyment rise a bit. Still, it does not match up to the time when I

got DOA3. (Maybe because all characters play so differently now)
